SHOCKING CRIME: DAVINDERJIT BAINS FROM SWINDON AND WOOTTON BASSETT CAUGHT IN UNBELIEVABLE FILMING SCANDAL

In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the communities of Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett, Dr. Davinderjit Bains, a general practitioner, has been found guilty of a series of heinous crimes involving the secret filming of his female patients during medical examinations. The allegations span over a period of three years, during which Bains covertly recorded numerous examinations without the consent or knowledge of his patients, raising serious concerns about privacy and trust in medical professionals.

According to court records, Dr. Bains faced a total of 39 charges, which included sexual assault, voyeurism, and sexual offenses against children. In addition to pleading guilty to these charges, he requested that another 65 offenses be taken into account, indicating a pattern of disturbing behavior. The majority of these offenses occurred while he was working at the Tinkers Lane Surgery in Royal Wootton Bassett, where he was employed as a general practitioner.

One of the most chilling aspects of this case was the method Bains used to record his illicit videos. On his wrist, he wore what appeared to be a normal watch, but embedded within was a tiny video camera lens where the number '6' digit should have been. This covert device was used to film 361 different examinations, with police estimates suggesting that approximately 200 women had been recorded without their knowledge or consent.

The investigation was triggered when a 19-year-old student, who was staying at Bains's residence in Swindon, became suspicious of the watch she found on a bathroom shelf while taking a shower. When she moved the watch, Bains reportedly shouted at her, warning her never to touch that watch again. Alarmed by his reaction and the suspicious nature of the device, she contacted the police. This tip-off led to a police operation that uncovered the extent of Bains's misconduct.

Wiltshire Police, led by Detective Inspector Mark Garrett, responded swiftly. When officers arrived at Bains's surgery to arrest him, they seized a second watch he was wearing, which also contained recording capabilities. The police then faced the challenging task of matching the numerous videos to individual patients, a process that involved painstaking analysis and cooperation from the victims.

To facilitate the investigation, Wiltshire Police established a dedicated hotline encouraging women who believed they might have been filmed to come forward. This proactive approach yielded enough evidence to proceed with criminal charges. During the court proceedings, Dr. Bains admitted to 13 counts of voyeurism, two counts of sexual assault involving a child, and 13 counts of assault by penetration. He also pleaded guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault. His offending was committed between 2010 and 2012, casting a long shadow over his professional career and personal life.
