SENTENCE ADJOURNED FOR CARLISLE MAN WHO HAD CHILD ABUSE IMAGES
SENTENCING has been adjourned for a 52-year-old Carlisle man who has admitted downloading dozens of indecent child images.David Wilson, formerly of Admiral Way, entered guilty pleas to three allegations when he appeared before a judge at the city’s crown court.
All relate to indecent child images.
He downloaded 65 images classified as Category A, the most serious kind; as well as 54 Category B images ad 14 images assessed as Category C.
He committed the offences between August 22 last year and July this year.
Some of those images were stored on a USB flash drive.
Adjourning the case for sentencing on October 31, Judge Michael Fanning remanded the defendant in custody, telling him that any time spent in prison will count towards his sentence.
