ROYTON MAN DAVID PULLEN RECEIVES COMMUNITY ORDER OVER EXTREME PORN IN ROYTON
In January 2021, David Pullen, a 48-year-old resident of Higginshaw Lane in Royton, was sentenced to a community order after being convicted of possessing both extreme pornographic images and indecent images of a child.He pleaded guilty to the charges at Tameside Magistrates Court. As part of his sentence, Pullen is required to complete 200 hours of community service and attend a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for up to 30 days. The court also ordered his mobile phone to be confiscated and destroyed.
Additionally, Pullen is obliged to register with the police under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for a period of five years. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and an £85 surcharge to support victim services.
