DAVID PENDLEBURY SENTENCED IN THE CITY FOR ABUSE OF SCHOOLBOY
David Pendlebury, aged 52, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for the rape and repeated abuse of a schoolboy starting from the age of 12. Due to the significant risk of re-offending, he will also serve an extended four-year licence period, with parole eligibility only after serving two-thirds of his sentence. In addition, Pendlebury received a lifetime obligation to be on the sex offenders register. Prosecutors highlighted that he exploited the victim's trust by providing gifts and financial assistance.
