May 2014 Man jailed for sex act in front of girl, 13, on a bus A sex offender caught masturbating in front of a 13-year-old girl on a London bus has been jailed. David Murphy-Hinds, of Turnpike Lane, sat down near the victim on a route 121 bus to Southgate in March. As the girl got off the bus she saw 26-year-old Murphy-Hinds masturbating. Detectives traced the offender using CCTV pictures taken from the bus, and he was arrested and charged on March 28. After initially pleading not guilty to outraging public decency he later admitted the offence and was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court to a year in prison on April 23.
