PERTH DELIVEROO RIDER JAILED FOR BREACHING COURT ORDER AND ASSAULT
A Deliveroo rider named David Kaylor has been imprisoned after an incident involving breaching a court order and engaging in threatening and assaultive behavior.
Kaylor was ordered to stay away from his girlfriend following his court appearance on February 16.
However, later that evening, he went to her house uninvited, attempted to get her attention by calling through the letterbox, and threw stones at her window.
The incident was witnessed by neighbors, and police were called.
They eventually forced entry into Kaylor's home when he refused to answer the door.
The next day, police responded again after Kaylor was found at his partner's residence; he swore at and lunged at an officer, who was not injured.
Despite the court order, Kaylor visited his partner's house in Almondbank, shouted and berated her outside, and swore at a passer-by.
Sheriff Euan Duthie deferred sentence for reports but remanded Kaylor in custody, expressing concerns that Kaylor could not be trusted to follow bail conditions.
He is scheduled for sentencing on March 31.
