DAVID HUGHES CAUGHT IN CLAYTON WITH CHILD PORN NEAR HIGH SCHOOL

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, David Hughes, a resident of Clayton, was found to possess and download indecent images of children, some as young as 12 years old. The incident came to light during a police raid on his home in Denbigh Close, Clayton, which is situated just a short distance from Clayton Hall Business and Language College.

On June 23 of the previous year, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Hughes's residence. During the operation, they seized his computer along with 110 discs, uncovering a troubling collection of digital material. Among the items recovered were 35 moving images depicting children engaged in inappropriate acts, alongside numerous still images. The images ranged in age from 12 to 16 years old, raising serious concerns about the safety of minors in the vicinity.

Hughes was not at home when police arrived but returned during the search. When questioned about the nature of the materials, he claimed that the content consisted of naturist films and regular pornography. He also stated that his wife used the computer solely for searching and booking holidays. However, investigators found that three of the discs contained indecent moving images of children, categorized into various levels of severity, with 17 images at level one, 16 at level two, one at level three, and another at level four. Additionally, 55 deleted still images of children were recovered from the computer.
