DAVID GIBBINS FROM PLYMOUTH SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC SEX OFFENCES
In a case that has shocked the local community of Plymouth, a 68-year-old man named David Gibbins was sentenced to prison after admitting to a series of disturbing sexual offences. The proceedings took place at Plymouth Crown Court, where Gibbins faced the consequences of his actions that spanned several years.Gibbins, who resides on Penrose Street, off North Road West in Plymouth, pleaded guilty to multiple charges involving vulnerable victims. The court heard that between the years 2000 and 2003, he indecently assaulted a female on two separate occasions. Additionally, he was found guilty of exposing himself in the presence of a young girl, committing a sexual act that caused her distress.
Further allegations revealed that Gibbins engaged in sexual activity with a teenage girl who was considered vulnerable. These acts took place in 2006 and on another unspecified occasion, adding to the severity of his crimes.
