DAVID BARKER FROM COUPAR ANGUS FACES HORRIFIC CHARGES INCLUDING MURDER AND RAPE IN COURT

A 19-year-old girl bravely recounted her harrowing ordeal during a court hearing, detailing a violent attack carried out by David Barker, a 25-year-old man from Coupar Angus. The young woman described how Barker arrived at her residence with bloodstains on his clothing, claiming he had just returned from an outing with Robbie Thomson, a schoolboy who is now the subject of a murder investigation. Barker reportedly told her that Robbie had sustained a cut to his hand, which explained the blood on his attire.

According to her testimony, Barker then forcibly entered her home, where he proceeded to lock her inside.
