CHILD RAPIST JAILED FOR 15 YEARS

Daniel Atkins, aged 33, has received a 15-year prison sentence after being found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting children under the age of 13.

The individual from Bridgend was also convicted on additional charges of sexual assault involving penetration and inducing a child to participate in sexual acts.

While his latest offenses occurred in 2022, investigations revealed that the abuse had persisted over a period of six years prior to his arrest.

Following a report to law enforcement, police detained Atkins on May 7, 2022.

He was subsequently charged and placed on remand the following day.
