PERTH MAN DALE SMITH CONVICTED FOR FORCIBLY REMOVING WOMAN IN SEMI-NAKED STATE
A woman was forcibly removed from Dale Smith's car and left in the street in front of her mother’s home, semi-naked.
The victim, who had been out drinking, had earlier engaged in consensual intercourse with Smith after he had sent her suggestive texts and requested to meet up.
During the journey, she struggled to find her clothes, and upon arriving at the location, Smith forcibly pulled her out of the vehicle by her arms while she was only partially dressed, shouting and swearing at her and making derogatory remarks.
Smith admitted to this conduct, which was described as an assault involving shouting, swearing, and derogatory language towards a woman, as well as forcibly removing her while she was semi-clothed.
The sheriff expressed his disbelief regarding why the woman would be interested in Smith, given his criminal history, and sentenced him to 145 hours of unpaid work instead of prison.
