Twisted Craig Loy, 27, who admitted being addicted to child porn also downloaded pictures of a woman having sex with a dog. The photographs showed children aged between two and six being abused, Ayr Sheriff Court heard. Jailing him for three years, Sheriff Desmond Leslie described Loy’s sick obsession as “depravity.” The creep will remain on the sex offender’s register indefinitely. Loy hung his head in the dock as depute fiscal Jacob Tomnay told the court how police rammed the pervert’s door during a raid last February. Mr Tomnay said: “Police received intelligence that an IP address had uploaded indecent images of children.” Using a battering ram, they forced open Loy’s flat door at 8am on February 3 last year. At the time Loy told police it was ‘like an addiction,’ Tomnay told the court. Mr Tomnay said Loy also told police: ‘I hope I can get it sorted out and get help’ and admitted downloading them all. A computer expert examined a laptop, external hard drive and pen drives and found pictures ranging from Category, A, B and the most extreme C. Mr Tomnay said there was a total of 122,204 unique images – and 113,000 were accessible without specialist software. The depute fiscal said Loy also had a a few dozen pictures “showing penetration of a female by a dog.” “Loy admitted downloading the indecent images of children at his home address in Shawlands Street Catrine between September 21, 2012 and February 3, 2017. He also pled guilty to possessing extreme images depicting sexual activity involving animals and people between July 17, 2015 and February 3, 2017.
