February 2021 Huddersfield man pleads guilty to possessing extreme porn images involving sex with a dog A 51-year-old man from Fartown in Huddersfield has pleaded guilty to possessing seven extreme pornographic images of a person performing sexual intercourse with a dog. Craig Elsdon of Fartown Green Road also faces a separate charge of making indecent photographs of a child, a Category B status, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Both offences are said to have taken place on 31 January 2019. The bench at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court heard the pornographic images involving a person having sex with a dog were portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way and were grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character. The court heard that the defendant had pleaded guilty to the charge at a previous hearing. He was now waiting to hear whether the Crown Prosecution Service was pressing ahead with the child sexual abuse images charge. Chairman of the bench, Richard Fearnley told him to appear before the court on the afternoon of May 17 and released him on unconditional bail.
