COLIN MCKISSOCK JAILED IN NORTHAMPTON FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN AND ACTRESS

A convicted paedophile, Colin McKissock, aged 70 and residing in Northampton, has been found guilty of further offences involving two other children after an award-winning Scottish actress testified against him for a second time. The actress, whose identity is protected for legal reasons, previously testified in a 2017 case where McKissock was sentenced to three years in prison for abusing her when she was just 11 years old.

After reading about McKissock's previous conviction online, a man from Hertfordshire came forward to Hertfordshire Police, claiming he had been victimized by McKissock when he was between 11 and 13 years old, living in Watford. A woman also reported that McKissock had touched her when she was a minor. McKissock, who is currently out on bail awaiting sentencing next month to allow him to undergo cancer treatment, was warned by a judge that he would be returning to prison.

The star, who cannot be named publicly, described her experience to a jury at St Albans Crown Court, stating she was groomed by McKissock, who had 'blindsided her with sweets.' During the 2017 trial, evidence was presented that McKissock exposed himself to her, showed her pornographic magazines and videos, performed a sex act in her presence, used a sex aid, and persuaded her to expose herself and perform a sex act. He was also found guilty of indecent practices involving a friend of hers.

McKissock, a former bank employee and finance manager from Bellinge, Northampton, was convicted on 13 counts, including eight of indecent assault on a male, three of indecency with a child, and two of indecent assault on a female. The male victim from Watford recounted that in the early 1990s, he visited McKissock’s home after school and found him in a dressing gown watching pornography while masturbating. McKissock reportedly told him he was 'giving him an education' and engaged in sexual activities.

The female victim, aged 12 and 13 at the time, told authorities that McKissock had touched her on two separate occasions. McKissock maintains his innocence regarding the 1980s offences, denying ever discussing sex with the children or having pornography on television when they were present. He insists he is not sexually interested in children.

Judge Richard Foster announced that McKissock will be sentenced on Friday, March 18. While granting him bail as an 'act of mercy' to facilitate a treatment plan for his cancer, the judge warned him: 'When you come back you will be going to prison so prepare yourself for that.'
