WHITEHAVEN MAN CLIVE HORNSBY SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN CUMBRIA

On May 30, a man from Whitehaven, Clive Hornsby, was formally sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of multiple serious child sex offences. Clive Hornsby, aged 61 and residing on Solway Road in Whitehaven, appeared before Carlisle Crown Court to face charges related to his inappropriate and criminal conduct involving a minor. The charges included gross indecency with a boy, two counts of indecent assault on a boy, and inciting a boy over the age of 18 to engage in sexual activity. These offences spanned a period from 2002 to 2006, indicating a pattern of misconduct over several years.
