Blackburn Oswaldtwistle Sexual Abuser

November 2010 Blackburn molester flouted on ban A child molester repeatedly flouted a sex offences prevention order banning him from contact with youngsters under 16, a court was told. Father-of-two and ex-soldier Clint Denmark, 36, who is also on the sex offenders’ register for life, broke the rules over four years, although there was no evidence to suggest he had abused any child, Burnley Crown Court heard. Denmark had been jailed for three years in January 1999 for indecent assault on a child aged 11. In June, 2006, he was made subject of an interim order by Hyndburn magistrates, prohibiting him from having contact with children under 16. The full order was made in February 2007. Denmark, of Leyburn Road, Blackburn, admitted nine counts of breaching order. He is back behind bars for a year. Sentencing, Judge Simon Newell told him it must have been obvious precisely what the order meant and what restrictions it placed on him. The judge said he took into account there was no evidence that suggested any abuse, but custody was inevitable. He continued: “Protection of children and deterrence have to be at the forefront of my mind.” He warned the defendant the order continued indefinitely and if he failed to comply with it again, the sentences would get longer and longer. June 2006 Paedophile broke sex register rules A PAEDOPHILE has been ordered to stay away from boys under 16 after he breached the conditions of the Sex Offenders Register. Clint Denmark, 32, of Leyburn Road, Blackburn, has been made the subject of an interim sexual offences prevention order, aimed at stopping his offending. At Hyndburn Magistrates Court yesterday district judge Roger Lowe imposed the order on Denmark, who is currently serving a prison sentence after he was found to be living at an address in Oswaldtwistle with two young boys. He was originally placed on the Sex Offenders Register in 1999 after being convicted of indecently assaulting a child under 16. Under the terms of the order Denmark must not associate with any child under 16, allow a child to enter his home, enter any school premises, playgrounds or parks or loiter outside those places. He is due to leave prison in August and an application for a full sexual offences prevention order will be made at Hyndburn Magistrates Court on September 1.
