February 2014: Clayton Ball free and has now shaved his hair off October 2007 Holiday park rapist caught A RAPIST who tied up and blindfolded two 15-year-old girls before attacking them at a Burnham holiday park has been caught after he fled ahead of a 12-year prison sentence. Clayton Ball, 25, was convicted by a jury at Taunton Crown Court on Monday, September 24. He was found guilty of attacking the two children in his holiday caravan in 2005, and an extensive police manhunt was launched after he fled. A warrant was issued for his arrest and detectives from Taunton carried out extensive enquiries in order to find him. DC Mark Fudge from Taunton CID confirmed: “He was arrested in the Isle of Wight on Sunday (September 30), and he has now been taken into custody.”
