BIRKENHEAD MAN JAILED AFTER EXPOSING GENITALS AND DOWNLOADING PICS
A man from Birkenhead has been sentenced to prison after he publicly exposed himself and was found with indecent images of children on his devices.Christopher Searles, aged 23, appeared before Liverpool Magistrates Court for sentencing following a conviction for intentionally exposing his genitals in a manner likely to cause fear or distress.
The incident took place in Wirral on June 21, 2024.
Residing on Price Street in Birkenhead, Searles was also convicted of possessing and downloading indecent images of children.
During the hearing, it was revealed that Searles, who admitted guilt, had created two images and eleven videos classified as Category C, which is designated as the least severe level of child exploitation imagery.
The offences occurred in Wirral in August 2024.
He received an eight-month jail sentence and was placed under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) that will last six years.
Additionally, a restraining order was issued for five years, preventing Searles from initiating contact with two female victims related to the exposure offence.
