A 58-year-old man has today been jailed for 20 years for child sex offences in Flintshire.
Adrian Howarth was convicted of ten offences following a trial in November last year.
They included indecent assault, gross indecency, rape and cruelty to a child.
The offences against three victims, who cannot be named for legal reasons, date back to the 1980s and 1990s and took place in Flint, said North Wales Police.
At Caernarfon Crown Court today Howarth, of Market Street, Birkenhead, was sentenced to a total of 20 years in prison.
He was also made to register as a sex offender for life and handed lifetime restraining orders to protect all three victims.
