CHRISTOPHER RODGERS HAWICK TWEEDBANK DISTURBANCES LEAVE WOMAN IN FEAR

In a disturbing series of events, Christopher Rodgers, a 22-year-old resident of Eildon Road in Hawick, was sentenced to four months in jail following his reckless and aggressive behavior towards a woman living in Tweedbank. The incidents occurred over a span of just 24 hours, during which Rodgers repeatedly visited her home in Jura Drive while intoxicated, causing significant distress and fear.

On September 28, Rodgers first arrived at the woman's residence in a drunken state. The situation escalated when he physically assaulted her by slapping her on the body. In addition to the assault, he spat on her leg after she attempted to remove his Vodka bottle from her home by pouring its contents down the sink. This act of violence and disrespect marked a troubling start to the series of disturbances.
