The court proceedings culminated in a sentencing on March 5, 2021, where Jesper was held accountable for his actions.
As part of the penalty, Jesper was ordered to pay a fine of £40, along with a surcharge of £95 and additional costs amounting to £85. Furthermore, he was prohibited from owning or keeping a dog for a period of two years, a ban that was set to expire in March 2023.
