CHRISTOPHER ALLEN PLYMOUTH SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN PRISON
In a case that has spanned several years and involved multiple victims, Christopher Allen, a 69-year-old man from Plymouth, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 15 years for a series of heinous sexual offenses committed against young boys during the 1980s.
The conviction comes after a complex legal process that included three separate trials at Plymouth Crown Court, reflecting the persistent efforts of the victims and the justice system to bring the perpetrator to justice.
Allen, who was once a nightclub boss and later worked as a carpet fitter, was found guilty of one count of buggery and 16 counts of indecent assault, all relating to incidents that occurred between 1982 and 1989.
The court heard that Allen’s predatory behavior began in a West Cornwall village, where he gained the trust of the victims and their families before subjecting them to repeated sexual abuse.
