CHARLES TROWERS FROM TIDWORTH SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES

In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Tidworth, Charles Trowers, a 65-year-old resident, has admitted to possessing indecent images of children, including those classified as the most severe category.

The charges against Trowers came after a thorough investigation into his digital activities, which uncovered the disturbing material stored on his devices.

During the court proceedings, Trowers explained that his access to these illicit images was linked to a health crisis he was experiencing at the time.

Despite his explanation, the court found sufficient evidence to convict him of the possession of such harmful material.

The severity of the images he possessed prompted the judge to impose a significant sentence.

He was sentenced to 30 weeks in prison, but this term was suspended for a period of 18 months, meaning he will not serve time unless he commits another offence within that timeframe.
