CALLUM NIMMO FROM PERTH INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC ABUSE AND VANDALISM AT LOCAL HOTEL
On Valentine’s Day, a disturbing incident unfolded at a hotel in Perth involving 18-year-old Callum Nimmo.The young man was accused of subjecting his partner to domestic abuse, which included aggressive and threatening behavior.
Witnesses reported that Nimmo’s actions escalated when he began shouting derogatory and threatening remarks directly at the female companion, creating a tense and hostile environment within the premises.
According to court records, Nimmo’s conduct was not limited to verbal abuse.
He physically seized the woman by her body, further demonstrating his aggressive state.
The situation deteriorated when Nimmo resorted to violence against the hotel property, repeatedly punching a wall and causing visible damage to the structure.
This act of vandalism added to the seriousness of his behavior during the incident.
Following his arrest and court appearance at Perth Sheriff Court, Nimmo, who resides on High Street, faced charges related to his threatening and abusive conduct.
The court was informed of his actions at the Travelodge on Broxden Avenue on February 14, 2020.
In response, Sheriff Neil Bowie decided to place Nimmo on the Right Track Scheme, a program designed to steer young offenders away from further criminal activity and promote rehabilitation.
As part of his sentence, Nimmo was given a structured deferred sentence for a period of six months.
The sheriff also ordered a progress report to be submitted by September 22 to monitor his behavior and compliance with the program.
Meanwhile, Nimmo’s bail was continued, allowing him to remain free pending further developments in his case.
