BRYAN ASHCROFT FROM STALYBRIDGE SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES AFTER VILE VIDEOS FOUND ON PHONE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Stalybridge, Bryan Ashcroft, aged 36, has been sentenced to ten years in prison after admitting to a series of serious child sex offenses.The crimes came to light when a woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, discovered highly inappropriate videos on Ashcroft’s mobile phone, which depicted a young girl, aged 14, in a sexual context.
According to court records, Ashcroft had been abusing the young girl over a period of several years, engaging in multiple acts of sexual assault.
The charges against him included two counts of sexual assault by penetration, five counts of sexual assault, one count of voyeurism, and two counts of possessing indecent images of children.

The investigation was triggered in October of the previous year when the woman, who had access to Ashcroft’s phone, came across the disturbing images.
