DERBYSHIRE FLASHER HANDED SUSPENDED PRISON SENTENCE
A flasher who exposed himself to a woman at a Derbyshire petrol station has been handed a suspended prison sentence.Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court heard how 30-year-old Brian Swift carried out the act at the Shell Applegreen Nutbrook fuel station in Derby Road, Ilkeston, on January 28.
Swift, of Park Road, Heage was arrested and later pleaded guilty to indecent exposure.
He was handed a six-month jail term, suspended for a year and a 56-day curfew confining him to his address between 7pm and 7am each day.
Swift was also ordered to attend a group sex offender programme for 31 days as part of his rehabilitation.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order not to go to the petrol station or contact the victim.
Swift was also ordered to sign the sex offender’s register for seven years, to pay £150 compensation to the woman and to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
