FACE OF NOTTINGHAM BULLY WHO THREATENED TO PETROL BOMB HIS GIRLFRIEND'S HOUSE
A man, Brandon Slatcher, of Alfreton Road, Nottingham, was found guilty of multiple offences including beating his partner and sending threatening messages.
He was sentenced to 64 weeks in jail after being convicted of three assaults by beating and three offences of sending threatening messages.
The investigation was led by Graduate Police Investigation Officer Agnes Wakenhut.
Slatcher's actions included dragging the victim off the sofa and pinning her against the wall, causing her to choke and struggle to breathe, as well as biting her right shoulder during an argument.
He also threatened to petrol bomb her house, following her in the street in February 2020.
The court heard that the abuse escalated, including pushing her into a bed frame leaving her with bruising, and strangling her.
