BRADLEY CHALLINOR FROM WINSFORD SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN CHESTER
A man from Winsford, identified as Bradley Challinor, has been sentenced to prison after admitting to engaging in sexual activity with a minor. The case was heard at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, 4 March, where the court handed down a sentence of four years and four months behind bars.Challinor, aged 24 and residing at Castlemilk Court in Winsford, had previously entered a guilty plea to charges involving sexual activity with a child. In addition to this, he also admitted to attempting to pervert the course of justice, which involves actions intended to interfere with the legal process or obstruct justice.
During the trial, Challinor was found not guilty of one count of rape, which was part of the initial charges brought against him. Despite this acquittal, the court found sufficient evidence to convict him on the other charges, leading to his substantial prison sentence.
In addition to his time in prison, Challinor was ordered to register as a sex offender and is required to adhere to a lifelong sexual harm prevention order.
