BOBBY WILLIAMS FROM NEWPORT FACES JAIL OVER DISTURBING STALKING AND HARASSMENT IN NEWPORT
A disturbing case of stalking and harassment has unfolded in Newport, involving 39-year-old Bobby Williams.
The court heard that Williams engaged in a series of increasingly invasive and unsettling behaviors directed at a woman, behaviors that persisted despite a court-imposed restraining order.
According to court records, Williams had a history of troubling conduct, which culminated in a campaign of harassment that included multiple breaches of a 12-month restraining order.
The court was told that shortly after the order was issued, Williams began contacting the woman via Snapchat messages and repeatedly appeared at her residence in Newport, disregarding the legal restrictions placed upon him.
One of the most shocking incidents involved Williams sending a gift to the woman’s home—a mould of his erect penis.
This grotesque gesture was part of his ongoing obsession with her, and it was revealed during the court proceedings that he had also verbally abused her and followed her along a beach in Newport.
The harassment extended beyond the woman herself, as Williams approached a neighbor and discussed the possibility of seeing her abroad, claiming that the restraining order would not be enforceable outside the UK.
Williams was arrested on January 3 of this year and taken into custody at Haverfordwest police station.
