NEWS TWO MEN CHARGED WITH RAPING A WOMAN IN SOUTHSEA

Two individuals face charges of sexual assault following an incident in Southsea.

Authorities initiated an investigation after receiving reports that an 18-year-old woman had been raped by two unknown men on Wednesday, 24 June.

The assault occurred sometime between 1am and 3am at a property located on Manners Road.

Law enforcement officials have conducted detailed inquiries to uncover the details surrounding the case, resulting in the charging of two men in connection with it.

Tony Goldsmith, aged 45 and residing on Gilbert Street in Enfield, has been formally charged with three counts of rape.

Bobby Watson, aged 46 and living on Highbridge Street in Waltham Abbey, Essex, faces the same charges of three counts of rape.

Both men have been detained in custody and are scheduled to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, 29 June.
