Bernita Davies, labeled in court as the 'mother from hell,' along with her husband Alan, both aged 60, received prison sentences of eight years each for their role in causing or permitting the death of their daughter.
The incident involved the death of 32-year-old Steffie Davies, who was discovered by paramedics at her residence in Wrexham in May 2023.
This was revealed during proceedings at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday, March 19.
Medical examination indicated that Ms Davies was nearly skeletal, suffering from pressure sores and joint contractures that likely rendered her unable to eat or drink independently without help.
