May 2022 Three time convicted paedophile from Derbyshire jailed A now three time convicted paedophile from Derbyshire has been jailed after he made internet searches for people being raped and very young children being sexually abused. Derby Crown Court heard how Ashley Walker also had sick and vile child sexual abuse movies on one of his mobile phones when it was examined by the police. Along with that, the 38-year-old, who has served two previous jail sentences for similar offending, also had images of humans engaged in sexual activity with animals. Now he has been jailed for 14 months. Judge Jonathan Bennett said: “You said to your offender manager you get your kicks from watching rape scenes and these were horrific images. “One video showed a child aged four-to six being raped by an adult and that is just one of them. “Your attitude and approach shows little remorse and do you pose a significant risk that will lead to further offending? “I’m afraid the answer to that is yes. “You are a dangerous offender.” Eunice Opare-Addo, prosecuting, said Walker’s offender manager went to his home address near Chesterfield on September 3, 2020. She said they seized two mobile phones, one of which they had no knowledge the defendant owned. The prosecutor said: “It was discovered there were internet searches for ‘rape scene,’ ‘teen porn’ and ‘new baby girl’. “The defendant stated there would be images on the phone of children in their underwear and swimwear. “He also admitted watching rape scene pornography.” Miss Opare-Addo said two of the most serious category A films, one category C and five animal porn images were discovered. Walker, of Inkersall Road, Staveley, pleaded guilty to two counts of making indecent images of children and one of possessing extreme pornographic images. He has previous similar convictions from 2011 and 2015. As well as the jail term, Judge Bennett handed the defendant a fresh sexual harm prevention order for life Walker was handed an additional three-year extended licence to the 14 months custody.
