A man from Coventry named Antony Watts has been convicted of a series of disturbing and abusive actions directed towards a woman he met online. The case highlights a pattern of controlling and violent behavior that left the victim feeling emotionally shattered and physically threatened.

Watts, aged 37, subjected the woman to prolonged periods of abuse, both mental and physical. His actions escalated to a frightening incident in June, when he followed her while she was out walking her dog. During this encounter, Watts viciously struck her in the face and forcibly dragged her, causing her to panic and run away in an attempt to escape the assault.
