WORCESTER MAN ACCUSED OF WANTING TO STRIP DECOY TEEN NAKED AND SPEND NIGHT WITH GIRLS
A man faces charges after allegedly attempting to interact with what he believed to be underage girls online and requesting them to spend the night with him.Anthony Driver, residing on Himbleton Road in St John's, is accused of messaging multiple fictitious accounts of minors in his efforts to meet them for sexual activity that does not involve penetration, on September 30, 2022.
He is scheduled to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, December 5, where he will enter a plea to four allegations.
These include two counts of encouraging a girl aged between 13 and 15 to take part in sexual activities and two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor.
One of the fake profiles claimed to be an 11-year-old girl, with whom Driver allegedly wanted to kiss, cuddle, shower, and spend the night touching.
Another account, pretending to be a 14-year-old, was reportedly contacted by Driver, who allegedly asked if he could strip her naked and perform sexual acts during an overnight stay at a Premier Inn.
Driver has not yet entered a plea to the charges, which specify that he did not reasonably believe the individuals to be 16 or older.
