ANTHONY BAYLISS FROM STAFFORD CONVICTED OF SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST TWO GIRLS IN BIRMINGHAM OVER 20 YEARS AGO

Anthony Bayliss, a 77-year-old man from Stafford, has been found guilty of serious sexual offences committed against two young girls more than two decades ago. The victims, who were only 14 and 15 years old at the time, were both residing within the care system when the abuse took place.

During the period when the offences occurred, Bayliss was known to frequent escort services regularly. He was often seen driving around Birmingham in his luxury Rolls Royce, portraying himself as a successful television producer. His lifestyle and claims of success were part of his attempt to project a certain image, but behind this facade, he engaged in criminal activities that would eventually catch up with him.

The second victim, who was just 14 years old at the time, met Bayliss under circumstances that would lead to her being subjected to sexual assault. Over the course of their interactions, Bayliss raped her on two separate occasions at his residence. These heinous acts took place in Birmingham, a city where he often traveled and where the crimes were eventually uncovered.
