ANTHONY BAWDEN FROM MORETON SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES IN WIRRAL

In a case that has shocked the local community of Moreton and the wider Wirral area, Anthony Bawden, a resident of Sandbourne Heights on Stavordale Road, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for serious sexual offenses committed against a young girl during the early 1980s. Anthony Bawden, aged 40, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including three counts of indecent assault and three counts of gross indecency.
