ANDREW WILLIAMS FROM BURNLEY CAUGHT WITH VILE CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN SHOCKING POLICE DISCOVERY
In September 2020, a disturbing case emerged involving Andrew Williams, a resident of Burnley, who was found to be in possession of highly disturbing indecent images of children.The incident unfolded during a police investigation that revealed the severity of his actions and the disturbing nature of the material he possessed.
According to court records, Andrew James Williams, aged 32 and residing on Lyndhurst Road in Burnley, was already under scrutiny for his involvement in creating and distributing indecent images of minors.
He was awaiting sentencing for these charges when police officers conducted a routine home visit to his residence.
During this visit, law enforcement officials examined his mobile phone and discovered additional illicit content.
One police officer who reviewed the images described the material as the most vile she had encountered in her three years working in the unit responsible for handling such cases.
The images found on Williams’s device were deeply disturbing, highlighting the severity of his offenses and the ongoing threat posed by individuals involved in such criminal activities.
Williams faced multiple charges, including two counts of possessing indecent images of children.
He appeared before Blackburn magistrates, where he pleaded guilty to these charges.
The court heard that he was scheduled to be sentenced at Burnley Magistrates Court on October 16.
The prosecution, led by Adam Bonney, confirmed that Williams had previously appeared in court on September 10, where he admitted to making and distributing indecent images of minors.
Following his plea, he was remanded on bail and transferred to Burnley Crown Court for sentencing.
During the hearing, Philip Turner, representing Williams, explained that the offences occurred after his client had been remanded on bail.
He also stated that Williams had instructed him not to seek bail again, indicating his acknowledgment of the gravity of his actions and the ongoing legal process.
