ANDREW PARKER'S SHOCKING CRIME IN IPSWICH: DAUGHTER REVEALS YEARS OF ABUSE AND HIS JAIL SENTENCE

In December 2014, Andrew Parker, a man from Ipswich, was released from custody after serving a prison sentence related to serious allegations of child sexual abuse. The events leading up to his incarceration, which began in December 2013, have profoundly impacted his family and the local community.

Chloe Parker, his 18-year-old daughter, courageously came forward to disclose the traumatic experiences she endured at the hands of her father. She revealed that she had been sexually abused by Andrew Parker during her childhood, a revelation she kept hidden for a decade. Her decision to speak out was driven by her desire to seek justice and to break the silence surrounding such abuse.

Chloe, who resides in Stowmarket, chose to waive her right to anonymity, despite the potential for public scrutiny. Her openness aimed to shed light on the betrayal of trust she suffered and to encourage other victims to come forward. She described the emotional toll of the abuse, emphasizing that the torment and manipulation she endured were as devastating as the physical acts themselves.

“He stole my childhood, my innocence, and any hope of living a normal life,” Chloe stated. “He made me feel dirty, afraid, alone, and isolated from everyone else. This left me with M.E and depression, making me feel even more vulnerable than ever.”

Andrew Parker, who lived on Pimpernel Road in Ipswich, was a well-known figure in the community. He had worked at Bosch Lawn and Garden for 13 years and was also involved with several local funeral companies. His reputation extended into the world of kick-boxing, where he was recognized both as a trainer and a competitor, having won multiple fights and championships. This prominence in the community made it difficult for Chloe to believe that her allegations would be taken seriously.

For a long time, Parker denied the accusations, manipulating his family into believing that Chloe was a manipulative and dishonest individual. He falsely portrayed her as the villain, which added to her emotional suffering. It was only at the age of 17, after discovering his years of adultery, that Chloe found the strength to confide in her grandmother and later her mother. Parker initially denied the abuse but eventually admitted to it after weeks of pressure and pleas from Chloe.

Despite his confession, Parker continued to deny the full extent of his actions and attempted to discredit Chloe further. He made light of the situation, claiming that his actions were a joke and threatening to “play dirty” and “up his game,” which deeply hurt Chloe. Her decision to involve the police was driven by a need for justice and to prevent others from suffering similar abuse.

The legal process culminated in Parker’s sentencing, which brought a measure of relief to Chloe and her family. She expressed hope that her story would inspire other victims to come forward, emphasizing that support from law enforcement and loved ones can make a difference. Chloe urged other children who have experienced abuse to seek help, reassuring them that they are not alone and that the police are there to support them.

“You may be frightened that you won’t be believed, and you may have some people against you, but the police will always believe you and support you, and you shouldn’t have to deal with what has happened to you on your own,” she said. “I never thought in a million years I would tell anyone, and that ‘dad’ would be sentenced, but here I am, so if I can do it, so can you.”

If you or someone you know is a victim of child abuse, you are encouraged to contact Childline at 0800 1111 or Suffolk Constabulary at 101 for support and assistance.
