A man from Southport has been sentenced to prison for stalking two women and other related offenses.
Andrew Fleming, aged 41 and residing on Hampton Road in Southport, was given a sentence of seven and a half years in prison, along with an additional three years on extended license, at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, 22 December.
The court was told about a series of incidents spanning over 11 months involving his former girlfriend.
These included efforts to have her dismissed from her job, visiting relatives’ addresses in search of her, persistent messaging, and issuing threats.
Fleming was detained in November 2023, which led to an in-depth investigation.
He was formally charged in September of the previous year.
He admitted to charges of sharing private images and stalking.
Nonetheless, before sentencing in September, Fleming committed further offenses against another family member.
After a trial earlier this month, he was convicted of two counts of intimidation, stalking, and careless driving.
On 22 December, Fleming was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to seven and a half years in prison and a three-year extended license period.
