ALLAN NELSON FROM GALASHIELS JAILED FOR INDUCING TEENAGE GIRL TO TAKE INDECENT IMAGES IN PEEBLES
In December 2017, Allan Nelson, a 54-year-old man residing in Galashiels, was sentenced to 10 months in prison at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after a series of disturbing crimes involving a teenage girl.Nelson was found guilty of persuading the young girl to take indecent images of herself for his own viewing, a heinous act that underscores the severity of his misconduct.
Prior to the sentencing, Nelson had already pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
He admitted to inducing the underage girl to engage in sexual activity by providing her with a camera, which he used to facilitate the creation of explicit images.
