In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Willesden and the wider northwest London area, a young woman named Aliyah Weekes, aged 19 and residing in Harlesden, has been sentenced to serve four and a half years in a young offender institution for her role in orchestrating a brutal revenge rape. The crime involved her younger brother, Lacquan Weekes, who was 18 at the time, and took place on April 29 in a park in Willesden.

According to court proceedings, Aliyah Weekes was the mastermind behind the attack, which was motivated by a personal grudge against a 15-year-old girl. The victim was accused by Aliyah of spreading rumors about her and her friend, a 16-year-old girl. In a calculated act of revenge, Aliyah instigated her brother Lacquan to carry out the assault. The court heard that Aliyah threatened the girl, telling her, “Snitches get stitches,” and accused her of betrayal, which fueled her desire for retribution.

During the incident, Lacquan Weekes and the 16-year-old girl were convicted of aiding and abetting the attack. The 16-year-old received an 18-month youth rehabilitation order, while Lacquan was sentenced to five years after being found guilty of raping a girl under 16. The court described Lacquan as a repeat offender with previous convictions for battery and drug possession. Despite his history, he displayed no remorse during the proceedings, and his behavior on remand was described as “appalling.” The judge, Jeremy Donne, emphasized the severity of the crime, stating, “This was no game. This was no childish folly. This was a wicked crime and one that, Aliyah Weekes, you determined upon over the space of about an hour during which the victim was detained.”

The attack occurred in a secluded alleyway after the victim was confronted by Aliyah and her accomplice in a nearby park. The young girl was forced into oral sex with Lacquan Weekes while a group of youths watched from nearby. Fortunately, members of the public intervened, which allowed the victim to escape temporarily. However, she was later hunted down and subjected to a second assault, this time involving rape.

Judge Donne described the incident as a revenge rape, highlighting that the victim was being punished for alleged rumors. The court detailed how Aliyah Weekes accused the girl of revealing secrets and threatened her with violence if she did not comply. The judge pointed out that Aliyah’s comment, “stitches for snitches,” made her motive clear—revenge for perceived betrayal. The victim was described as being very distressed and terrified throughout the ordeal, especially as the attack unfolded in front of other youths.

In his sentencing remarks, Judge Donne held Aliyah Weekes principally responsible for the attack, asserting that it would not have happened without her involvement. The court heard that she had threatened the girl, warning her she would be hurt if she did not cooperate, and had also threatened to make her “do a lineup,” a slang term for performing oral sex on multiple men. The judge emphasized the malicious intent behind her actions and the devastating impact on the victim.

The victim’s mother provided an emotional impact statement, revealing that her daughter, once bubbly and carefree, had become withdrawn and anxious. She now struggles with health issues such as asthma and eczema, which have worsened since the attack. The family also faced intimidation, including a brick being thrown through their window, adding to the trauma.
