In a disturbing incident that took place at The Pools in Carlisle, a local teacher from Houghton, Alisdair John Wilson, 27, was found guilty of exposing himself to a mother and her two children in a swimming pool changing room. According to court reports, Wilson entered a cubicle behind the woman as she was drying her hair with her children nearby. Moments later, the cubicle door unexpectedly swung open, revealing Wilson standing completely naked. He fixated his gaze on the woman and her children for a brief period before retreating back into his cubicle and shutting the door behind him.

Wilson was subsequently brought before the court, where he was sentenced to a nine-month community order along with a 40-day rehabilitation order.
