ALEXANDER AND SHEENA SPENCE FROM WEST BROMWICH INVOLVED IN HORRIFIC CRUELTY IN AYR

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community, Alexander Spence, born around 1948, and Sheena Spence, also known as Sheena Percival, born approximately in 1946, both residents of West Bromwich, have been found guilty of heinous animal cruelty. The incident took place in Dalmellington, Ayr, specifically on Hopes Avenue, where the couple inflicted severe injuries on a defenseless Scottish terrier named Laddie, who was under their care at the time.

According to reports, the Spences were entrusted with looking after Laddie while his elderly owner, Nancy Howells, was critically ill and hospitalized. The couple later claimed to the RSPCA that their violent actions were a response to the dog biting Sheena Spence on her ankle. However, the severity of their actions went far beyond a simple bite.

On the day of the incident, the Spences, who were reportedly intoxicated, admitted to hitting Laddie between two and three times. The blows caused the dog to collide with a door, and in a tragic culmination of events, Sheena Spence then threw Laddie off the balcony of their flat, which was situated on the fifth floor.
