READING MAN ALEX BLACKLOCK GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND INDECENT IMAGES IN HAMPSHIRE
In a serious case that has shocked the local community, Alex Blacklock, a 31-year-old resident of Reading, has pleaded guilty to a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual assault of a child and the production of indecent images. The proceedings took place at Winchester Crown Court last week, where Blacklock admitted to a total of 24 separate offences.
Among the charges, Blacklock confessed to 12 counts of taking indecent images of a child in Andover during the years 2017 and 2018.
These images, which depict a minor in compromising situations, are part of the disturbing evidence that led to his arrest and subsequent court appearance.
In addition to these photographic crimes, Blacklock also admitted to sexually assaulting a child on two different occasions within the same timeframe, further compounding the severity of his actions.
Blacklock's criminal activities extend beyond these initial charges.
He is also accused of making seven indecent images of a child, a charge that underscores the extent of his involvement in exploiting minors.
Furthermore, he faces two counts of voyeurism, which involve secretly recording a woman engaged in a private act, an invasion of privacy that adds to the gravity of his offences.
In a disturbing pattern of behavior, Blacklock was also found to have engaged in upskirting—filming women under their skirts without their consent—an act that is considered a serious violation of public decency.
These acts, committed both in Hampshire and elsewhere, have led to additional charges related to outraging public decency.
The court has scheduled Blacklock's sentencing for March 4 at Winchester Crown Court, where the full extent of his crimes will be considered, and appropriate penalties will be determined.
The case has raised significant concerns about the safety and protection of vulnerable individuals in the Reading and Hampshire areas.
