Alan Marsden, a 55-year-old man from North Hull, has seen his prison sentence significantly extended following the emergence of a new victim who decided to come forward and report their experience to the police.

Marsden, who was initially convicted in 2011, had been serving a 15-year term for a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual assault and rape of a child.
