Adnan Saad

Toxteth Sexual Abuser

May 2009 Double rapist Adnan Saad locked up for 13 years after attacking teenage girls A man who raped two teenagers on the same night has been jailed for 13 years. But sex beast Adnan Saad could be freed after serving four-and-a-half years – when he is just 24. The 20-year-old stood impassively as a judge heard he raped a drunk 15-year-old girl after meeting her in Concert Square after she had lost her friends on a night out. He took her to a city centre flat he rented in Oldham Street and raped her before she passed out on a bed. While she lay upstairs the second victim – who did not know the first – came to the flat with a friend and some of Saad’s friends. The 16-year-old did not know the men and when her friend disappeared upstairs with one she was left alone with Saad, then 19 and two others. Liverpool crown court heard Saad lunged at her as she sat on a sofa and raped her before she managed to escape. The first victim woke up in a double bed the following morning fully dressed apart from her underwear and in pain. She later suffered horrifying flashbacks in which she recalled the attack. Saad, of Enid Street, Toxteth told police the girls were lying and claimed he only kissed the second girl. But police found DNA evidence and Saad was convicted by a jury. The court heard yesterday he still denies the rapes, which happened on August 2 last year. Judge Robert Warnock, sentencing, called Saad sexually conceited and immature. He said: “You have no understanding at all of what you have done and the effect on these girls and their families. “Liverpool late at night at weekends is an attractive place for young girls but it’s dangerous for those who drink to excess and especially those who mix with older males.” Merseyside Police Det chief inspector Tim Keelan praised the girls and their families for having the courage to come forward.
