WILLIAM BRIERS FROM ORFORD JAILED FOR SEXUAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN LIVERPOOL
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Orford and the wider Liverpool area, William Briers, aged 19, has been sentenced to prison for engaging in inappropriate and illegal online communications with a minor.
The incident dates back to July 2019, when Briers, then 18 years old and residing on Capesthorne Road in Orford, initiated contact with a 14-year-old girl through social media platforms.
According to court proceedings, Briers began messaging the young girl on Instagram, despite being fully aware of her age.
The messages quickly took a troubling turn, with Briers referring to her as 'fit' and expressing a desire to meet her in person.
Prosecutor Mandy Nepal outlined that Briers told the girl,
