WENDY JONES FROM MORETON CAUGHT WITH EXTREME ANIMAL PORN AT LIVERPOOL CROWN COURT
In July 2017, a woman from Moreton, Wirral, identified as Wendy Jones, faced serious allegations after being found in possession of a disturbing collection of extreme animal pornography.The case was heard at Liverpool Crown Court, where it was revealed that Ms.
Jones had been accumulating these illicit images over a period of four years.
The material included graphic depictions of women engaging in sexual acts with animals such as horses, dogs, and pigs, which prosecutors described as 'disgusting.' Wendy Jones, aged 54 and unemployed, relying on a monthly disability benefit of £600, admitted to six counts of possessing animal pornography.
Her plea resulted in her being sentenced to a 12-month community order, a decision that drew mixed reactions from the courtroom.
The court proceedings shed light on the disturbing nature of her collection and the circumstances surrounding her arrest.
The investigation was initiated after Ms.
Jones’s former partner reported her to the police.
The partner, identified as Miss Davies, was reportedly appalled when Ms.
Jones showed her a photograph depicting a young girl and a man engaged in a sexual act.
This revelation prompted police to take action, leading to a raid on Ms.
Jones’s residence.
During the police search, officers discovered 31 images of animal pornography stored on her laptop.
The authorities also found evidence suggesting that Ms.
Jones had conducted internet searches related to children, which heightened concerns about her activities and intentions.
Prosecutor Rob Jones emphasized the gravity of the case, stating that the evidence was 'of some concern to the court.' Judge Robert Trevor-Jones, presiding over the case, addressed Ms.
Jones directly when delivering her sentence.
He remarked, ‘You now have this conviction to your name, so you have lost your hitherto good character.
These were, after all, quite disgusting images that you had on your laptop – extreme porn, that’s what they are.’ The judge also ordered Ms.
Jones to complete a 60-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and imposed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order to restrict her future conduct and protect the community.
As Ms.
Jones left Liverpool Crown Court, she was seen celebrating her release, a reaction that drew attention given the serious nature of her offenses.
The case highlights ongoing concerns about the possession and distribution of extreme and illegal pornography, especially involving vulnerable subjects and potential links to other criminal behaviors.
