SUFFOLK POLICE HUNT FOR ON-THE-RUN RAPIST WITH LONDON LINKS
A man named Wayne Campbell, aged 42, remains at large after being released temporarily from prison on Saturday, February 17.
He was incarcerated in 2015 and sentenced to 12 years for the rape of a woman on two occasions, as well as for strangling her until she lost consciousness.
Campbell is known to have ties to London, particularly Edmonton, where he previously resided.
Suffolk Constabulary has announced he is missing following his escape from HMP Sollesley Bay in Suffolk.
He is described as a Black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a stocky build.
Authorities are calling for anyone who might have seen him or possesses information about his whereabouts to contact police on 101, emphasizing that he should not be approached.
Media reports from 2015, specifically from Kent Online, depicted Campbell as a homeless drug addict who assaulted a woman who had shown him mercy after he was thrown out of his lover’s home in Ashford.
