SWANSEA MAN SENTENCED FOR SADISTIC DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THREATS
A man identified as Vincent Brownson, aged 46, of Hill Street, Mount Pleasant, Swansea, has been convicted and sentenced for a series of violent and abusive acts against his former partner.
The court heard Brownson, described as a 'sadistic bully,' had previously pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation, and suffocation.
The incident included multiple assaults; one involved Brownson throwing a shoe at his partner, causing a healed rib fracture, while another involved him placing a pillow over her face and repeatedly punching her.

During sentencing at Swansea Crown Court, Judge Geraint Walters described Brownson's behavior as one of the most disturbing cases of domestic violence he had encountered, and convicted him to 30 months in prison.
A lifelong restraining order was also issued banning him from contacting his ex-partner.
